What do you like most about your major?
My major isn't all
that big so you get to know people on a personal level.
What are your favorite courses within your major?
Intro to
Weeds, Applied Entomology, Intro to Crop Science, Crop & Growth Management,
just to name a few.
What are your favorite extracurricular activities related to
your major?
I am a member of Field & Furrow club and currently the
secretary. I'm very active in my club
and love being a part of it.
What are your favorite extracurricular activities not
related to your major?
Hanging out with friends and dance! I love to dance!
Describe your most memorable experience at the College of ACES.
Honestly there are too many to
name. Being a part of the College of ACES has given me the opportunity to
meet so many people and network to better my future. It has given me the opportunity to make
life-long friends and I hope to continue to make many memories throughout my
senior year.
What is your advice for students interested in the College of ACES?
Even though you will be at a Big
10 university, when you're in the College
of ACES you are not just
a face, you are family. You will have the opportunity to meet
professors and get to know them on a personal basis. There are people here that want you to
succeed and want you to obtain your goals.
Why do you belong at Illinois?
I love the University
of Illinois. It strives to see its students succeed. It offers many clubs and events for students
to get involved and the career fairs help out greatly. I would not trade my experience at Illinois in the College of ACES
for anything. I have made so many life
long friends and used the college for my advancement that I know it will
benefit me in the future. ILL-INI!
